We run an event each month and young people can attend as many as they like. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of different types of performance C145 aims to demonstrate to young people that they can enjoy theatre with people of their own age, unaccompanied by teachers or parents.

Events coming up will be emailed, or mailed out, to members a month before the show. Member then complete a booking form and send in their £5.

Advice for young performers

As a young performer it is incredibly important to see as much theatre as possible. This will inform your practice and your opinions. As with any profession it is a great asset to know what you are talking about, whether this is knowledge of playwrights, genres or actors. You will be a more confident performer if you are clued-up!

Going to the theatre can prove to be an expensive hobby and this is where C145 and WestEnd 4 £10 can really help. By being a part of these programmes you will be able to see a show every month, with best available seats. The productions vary from straight plays, to dance, opera, musicals, comedy and hard hitting drama, so you will get to see a range of shows every year.

You will also get the chance to meet actors, directors, producers and other ‘creatives’ through our pre and post show events. This is a valuable way of finding out what goes on behind the scenes, as well as an opportunity to learn more about careers in the wider world of performing arts.

Here is what a current member has to say ‘… it was simply the best evening ever! It was by far my favourite show I have seen with Mousetrap and I would like to say thank you so much for such a memorable night, truly! The Q & A was fantastic and I think that really finishes off the evening perfectly, as myself and a lot of other Mousetrappers I spoke to are hoping to get into theatre in one way or another, so to hear such incredible actors speak about their craft is amazing. I felt really lucky.’ C145 member after Three Days of Rain, and post show talk with the cast February 2009
